Where each conversation actually is. A deal with no next step is how a quote goes cold.
The number is buyers: confirmed means one told you, found here means a hunt for that chemical checked their site and said they use it. to offer is a different thing — they were found for something else and this fits too, so it is the second half of a call, not a reason for one. Ruled out is kept so the same company is not checked twice.

Known chemicals answer instantly. Anything else is generated once, then stored.
Someone hands you a card, or you find a name. Paste it here and see whether they are worth pursuing — it reads their site, and searches for them when there is nothing to read. Nothing is saved.

Searches are built from what each industry manufactures — toothpaste plants, bakeries, resin makers. Searching the chemical name would return your competitors.
Upload a product brochure — yours or a competitor's. It pulls out the chemicals, grades, synonyms and what each is used for. A competitor's catalogue is good master data: it tells you the applications, written by people who sell it. Nothing is saved until you approve it.
A product is one chemical at one grade in one pack size. Batches and certificates go inside it.

Everything else in here is inference — published averages, Google guesses, AI classification. What you know from the trade beats all of it. Anything you confirm here is stored as verified and overrides the estimates.

Work left to right. Each step hands to the next.
Drag a card, or use the buttons. Logging a call closes its card automatically — you should never have to update the board separately from doing the work.
Drafts written from each buyer’s own research. Nothing sends until you approve it, and an approved email waits an hour before it goes — long enough to pull it back. A reply or a logged call stops the rest of that sequence.

Placeholders in {braces} fill from the buyer’s record. Anything unknown shows as [price not known] rather than going blank — a quotation with an empty price line is worse than one that flags the gap.

Imports bring in whatever names the source used. Kept apart, “Pharmaceuticals” and “Pharma oral liquids” give a pharma buyer half your range, because a basket only shows chemicals mapped to its exact industry. Merging is permanent — check each pair.
